After days, weeks and months of searching for a home, the last thing you want to hear is 'thanks for the offer, we'll get back to you'. And yet, that is what happens sometimes. Because sometimes, a buyer and agent can feel like characters straight out of the Dr. Seuss book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go!". Perhaps, it could be rewritten for real estate; entitled, "Oh, the Offers You'll Write!"
Do not fret, for waiting is part of the process. While it may have taken time to come to the decision that one is ready to write an offer, remember, it takes time for the listing agent to organize the offers received and then it takes time for the sellers to consider the offers presented. The bottom line is that it takes time.
So what to do with that time? Well, it might be fun to take the time to read the book written by Dr. Seuss and remember that "Today is your day", enjoy!
